I read the first two. And let me say the musings and the imagination in the second were strong. I had to read through most of it again with the ending in mind and it did not disappoint!
I’m glad you liked it! It seems everyone who has read the stories are leaning towards the second one. I guess my mother is right about where my writing is strongest, lol.
Great work, E.R. Warm Glow landed most for me. The atmosphere never lets up and the creature scene is genuinely haunting. Speck in a Shell has real imagination too, the kind of worldbuilding that feels lived in rather than assembled. Looking forward to what comes next, my friend.
Thank you so much! And for taking up my offer. Didn’t fully expect that from a busy substacker. It means a lot that you took the time to indulge this little writer. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
P.S. I also noticed you used Mary Shelley in “Let’s Get High” could that be another reason you were drawn to Warm Glow?
I like them all, but I think the humor of Apple is my favorite.
I’m glad you liked them! And thank you for taking the time to read them all. So far that’s at least one for the Apple.

Let me think about it. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
